What makes GDIF different from other organizations?
We are a 501c (3) nonprofit that specializes in Cultural Intelligence in everything we do.
What is Cultural Intelligence?
Cultural Intelligence is a theory within management and organizational psychology, positing that understanding the impact of an individual's cultural background on their behavior is essential for effective business, and measuring an individual's ability to engage successfully in any environment or social setting globally.
When is GDIF going to offer a global conference?
I’m glad you ask……GDIF is in the process of announcing our 1st global conference to be held in Miami Florida, June 2012. If you would like to be on the steering committee, please contact us.
What are the main programs GDIF offers?
GDIF offers several programs. Our main ones are our Diversity and Inclusion Certification; our Think Tank Institute; our Chapters and our Global University.
Is there a chapter near me?
GDIF has many local chapters. A chapter doesn’t need to be a large city. If one isn’t listed, think about starting one.
How can I volunteer with GDIF?
GDIF offers several options to get involved. The most general way to do so is through becoming a volunteer. We are always looking to fill gaps to achieving our mission, such as fundraisers, blogers, public relations, marketing, hosting special events, leading our chapters, executing our program, publishing our newsletter or becoming a global video reporter to name a few.
How do I become a sponsor?
Our sponsorship page outlines in detail the levels we offer and are very beneficial.
What if I am interested in a sponsorship level not listed?
GDIF will help you to create a sponsorship that fits your needs and budget, please contact our CEO/President to make this happen.
How do I become a member?
GDIF offers several memberships (student, professional and corporate).
I’m a White Man, diversity doesn’t apply to me?
At GDIF, we consider the white man a full diversity partner. We know the importance of inclusion, because we believe that diversity is no longer about race and gender.
